Thank you. A couple out of town co-workers asked me to take them to Hurricane ridge this Saturday. Well probably hike down to Moose, Grand and Gladys lakes. Then maybe loop around the valley.

Twister, thanks for extending the invite to others. Shows good hiker karma. Many years ago a very dear logger friend took there. Sources tell me fishing should be ok. To those unfamiliar with Klone Lakes, it is a known off trail lake destination that is reasonably easy to access (two main accesses from the top and bottom. A good lake to go to when others are snowed in. Those of us who travel off-trail have no problem sharing this one. It is not particularly pristine. I was there a couple of years ago. I remember seeing garbage and more than one rubber raft.

Hey Twister! I'm one of those riff raff Twister introduced to Klone Lakes several years go. It's amazing. The fish jump on your hook in less than a minute, I swear. Wish I could join you guys this weekend!

Deerguy my idea of Pristine has changed over the years. Its now a place with oldgrowth timber and no roads.

Hey Joe I've lot of success fishing those Lakes. A lot people don't know you can fish there but you don't need a license and theres no limit
