For general info many NG companies will foot the bill to your house.
Only IF they know they'll get a decent payback (you will be using enough gas to make it worth their while such as using it for heating.) If all you intend it for is cooking and hot water, forget hooking up as it's going to be VERY expensive. That is why I went with propane.

Update: So I purchased this tankless gas water heater and am very pleased http://www.homedepot.com/p/Eccotemp-1-5-GPM-Portable-Gas-Tankless-Water-Heater-L5/205574393 I built a pallet board shelter to contain it and to provide privacy and wind protection. I had only one issue, that being the flexible metal hose that was defective and leaked immediately (also read about that issue in reviews). I brought the hose in to Home Depot and they replaced the $20 hose no charge. I actually like it better than my home shower since the water is hot immediately and the flow and temperature are easy to adjust as well, plus as long as you still have propane, you never run out of hot water. up.gif

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
