This Sky Wilderness thing. Gotta question for you for you intelligent folk out there. I guess the newspaper says certain timber companies are upset about the proposal because it contains areas where they “were promised” areas they could cut in the future. If that is so, then why was the area proposed with those areas included?

So they can't log them! The so called promises maybe based on the Forest Plan which allowed logging in some of the areas included in the wilderness area.
