Don't think I saw any Mt. Adams goats so I'll post one from late July of this year.
This one was hanging around Lunch Counter the evening I camped there. It was much closer than the photo makes it appear. Sorry for the poor image quality due to my fondness for shooting with my cell phone.
This was only my 2nd time up Adams. Didn't see any the first time. Are goats common there?

We saw this guy on top of a big rock at Upper Royal Basin in Olympic National Park. One of the highlights of the hike!

autumnal equinox...hiked the switchback trail to heather pass and back, ONP.
encountered 9 goats wearing their beautiful coats!
