We are self admitted Mount Rose addicts
We especially love her in the snow.
Headed up this morning after listening to the rain all night pouring on the roof. Wondering if we were crazy - but the weather cleared and we had an amazing beautiful day!! We hit the first dusting of snow on the trail at 2300 feet and the summit had approximately 6 inches. We took the side trip down to the big waterfall just below Horse Camp and it was raging. Got some photos of her neighbor Mount Ellinor and looks like quite a bit of new snow up there.
Hope you enjoy the photos!

Somebody left a rose on Rose
We did the loop - this is the ridge after the summit
This is how we feel and found this quote on Summit Post: "Mountains are female. Boats are as well, bodies of water, even our vehicles.
Whenever we have things that are beautiful to us we label them a "she".
After all.... Mount Rose has beautiful curves
