Some nasty looking clouds rolling in. I'm excited - I miss storms after this unsettlingly nice summer.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human末animals and aliens are great possibilities

Mine says 993.4 mbar sea-level pressure, measured at 410'. That would be 29.3 inches of mercury.

It hit 29.17 yesterday afternoon at sea level then the winds picked up to 46 mph at 2 a.m. Too noisy to sleep.

My barometer bottomed out earlier at 28. It is now at 28.32. This is in "the foothills of the Cascades". Not any wind to speak of, just rain. More rain. There was a clap of thunder in the wee hours of the morning. Just one that was loud enough to wake me up.
