I'm new to the forum and am looking for some people interested in maybe doing a night or two around colchuck lake and maybe head up Aasgard pass. I've heard that they closed the gate and that it ads about 4 miles to the trip up to the lake. You should have all gear needed and we can talk about sharing stuff to save on weight! If you're interested message me and we can talk! up.gif up.gif

FWIW: The route above Colochuck Lake towards Aasgard pass has high potential for deadly snow avalanches -- hopefully you know about the training and equipment needed to manage such risks. If not the lake itself is a quite worthwhile winter objective.
