Im looking for anyone interested in backcountry skiing in western Montana. Ive taken a couple avalanche courses, and always dig an ECT pit before skiing avy terrain, and always ski low angle when snow pack is unstable. Im 24, live near stevensville & consider myself a moderate skier but wont slow you down on the up hill and can do alot of trail breaking. Also if you are just looking to get into backcountry skiing, I have some extra tele setups and an extra shovel, beacon and probe Josh

Check out panhandlebackcountry.com There are some members on the site that either live in, or commute to your area. Also, this is sweet little blog for the Central 'Roots. http://mt-adventures.blogspot.com/2015/12/bitterroot-highest-25-peaks_7.html I'd join you, but i broke my tibial plateau last month....
