I am looking for my brother Eric Ferguson, age 60. In the 90s he lived in a small olive green Datsun pickup truck a little ways up the granite lakes road. He was paid a small amount ( I think) to guard the gate that used to be there. If anyone had any contact with him or has ANYTHING to share about him could you please PM me. The photo is from 95-97. He's wearing a cedar root hat he made. Thanks, Mike
Eric Ferguson

Considering the way some nwhikers get out and about and into the most obscure places, posting this request is a really good idea, Mike.

That is a damn nice hat
You might post this question on a Washington kayaking or whitewater forum as paddlers are up there too.
It looks like there are some homes just downstream of where Granite Lakes road turns off so a resident there may have info too?
I wish you luck!

Schenk, Eric could make anything. Fixed his own cars. Built an electric guitar from scratch. A real original craftsman.
Thanks for the tip.

The owners of the cabin on Thompson Point may have some info. They had to use that road to access their property.
