This weekend was spent on one of the San Juan Islands, Sucia Island. A sailor around the campfire told us a story about a bus ride he took from Montigue Harbour on the Canadian island of Galiano to the Hummingbird Bar some 15 minutes away. He said the ride was one of the funnest things he has done. The driver passes out instruments for the riders to use and plays music with a disco ball going around inside. Has anyone in this forum gone on that ride? This fellow talked it up so much I am thinking about going there just for the bus ride.
That's something we do whenever we drop the hook in Montague Harbor going back to when the kids were little. Highly recommend going for the experience of bellowing "Blueberry Hill" with thirty or so fellow inebriated folk back to the Harbor. The kids laughed their asses off.
