Well, it is easy to think this will happen soon, but the reality is it will take substantial wealth to develop automation to the extent people are envisioning. Just a guess, but the way the World political and economic environment is going, the economy may not support that extent of innovation and manufacturing for a long time...if ever. Now, the sharing and dissemination of information is another story...wow, talk about an acceleration. Now, I do feel it could be said that nobody will lack access to information in the near future. No access to information will soon be a personal choice, not something that is unavailable. Governments may try to limit access to information but it will be futile as people will find a way to communicate.

Nature exists with a stark indifference to humans' situation.
