Thinking about heading in via Shady Pass. I have done Cardinal so would have my sights set on Emerald, Saska, Pinnacle, and possibly Gopher. Camp in the basin below Saska.

Bump! I didn't end up doing this last week but thinking I'll go Tuesday-Thursday this week. Weather looks a bit marginal Tuesday but good Wednesday and Thursday!

I have been looking at heading up Shady Pass, parking south of Crow Hill and hiking to Pyramid Peak and back but wasn't sure of the road conditions or the snow. Would love to hear about your trip when you get back.

Is the road even open to get to that area? I ask because I have Pinnacle as a hanger-on.
