I looked for one the other day when I was up there, and I couldn't find one. Couldn't see the lakes from the trail either.
I'd like someone to call me out as a dummy for not finding it, because I totally expected to find one and couldn't.

I do not know about summer but in winter it is easy to continue straight on the road where it jogs right to Kendall overlook and Kenfdal lakes to the top of a dome which the PCT crosses before traversing to the catwalk. The Route to Kendal takes off before the catwalk. Beckey has a route from the upper lake to the summit in the first edition of the CMG but it has been replaced by the current route from the PCT.

Is there a climber's path to the PCT from Kendall Peak Lakes????
Yes, go to lower left side of middle lake and head sort of NW up toward a low pass. The route is relatively obvious, if you have a hankering for going easiest route. Drop down the other side and you'll come to PCT after losing about 50 feet of altitude. It saves maybe 2 miles?
