Vasque, my preferred boot/shoe for decades, has abandoned those of us with big feet. Who makes good trail runners (for hiking, not running) in size 15+? I'm looking for stability on a narrow foot and soles tough enough for sharp rocks.

Inov8 fits narrow feet well. All I've been using for the past 4 years.

I desire medium danger williswall.com

Thanks. I see they go up to size 15, at least according to the company website. But I've been unable to find one in the real world. Do you have info on a retailer who'll actually sell a 15?

All feet are different so you might have to sample like I did. But I got Altra Olympus and have been really happy so far. I needed wide trail runners with more of a squared off toe box (instead of pointy). These have been good for all of those. I had a size 13. The website says they sell a 15. I'd recommend them.

It would tickle me pink to be able to sample, but right now I can't even round up a sample of one. I don't know if the mfrs are outright lying or if they make one pair of 15s so they're not lying, then immediately recycle it, but ... banghead.gif

New Balance has Trail Runners in size 15 and variable widths. I've used their running shoes for a decade or more. You should be able to find a good fit. I currently have Salomen Trail runners for hiking. Looks like they don't go to size 15.
