Hello hikers,
I am all dressed up with no place to go.
My plans just fell through for hiking Section L of the PCT (Rainy Pass to Canada). I am planning to begin this Sat., Aug. 20, and reach the terminus of the PCT on Friday, Aug. 27. I have a bus ticket from Manning Park to Vancouver on Sat., 8/28 (1:50 AM), and a train ticket from Vancouver to Seattle on Sun, 8/29. My food is packed, my maps are ready, etc, etc. I don't like to hike solo, and would love some company. I have a sense of humor, an interest in ultralight methodology, 9 years of backpacking experience, and 60 years of life experience.
If you are available, and even remotely interested, please contact me to discuss logistics, itinerary, hiking styles, etc.
I hope to hear from you!
David

You won't be solo. There are hundreds if not thousands of people on the trail at any given time. Every single camp near the trail is packed with PCT hikers this time of the year.

I'm sure you are right, but my wife just put her foot down. So, the search continues for a hiking buddy.....

Tell her it's kind of like hiking around Greenlake on a sunny summer afternoon.
