Looking for insight or ideas of the best way to get from Seattle to the Salmon La Sac Trailhead. Is there rideshare or shuttles that could be used?
I'm going on a 1 week trip with a friend where we will be flying into Seattle. We're trying to avoid renting a car since we won't be using it for the majority of the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the weather!
A big storm is on the way for Saturday with stormy weather Thursday through Tuesday. It probably won't be as windy and wet east of the Cascades, but still could be very unpleasant. Also Saturday is the opening day for the main deer hunting season. There will probably be lots of hunters up there. You may want to delay a few days or reschedule.

OK, I'll say it. You shouldn't be going out in the weather predicted for the near future.

Appreciate the advisory on the weather. I've been keeping a very close eye on it the past few days.
I just talked to the Cle Elum ranger station. They are expecting remnants of the storm with the majority of the hazardous weather on Friday through Saturday.
Unfortunately, this isn't an easily cancelled trip. Involves flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. Unlucky timing.
Tentative plan right now is to wait it out and possibly not start the trip until Sunday. The remainder of the week will consist of cold rain and possibly some snow at higher elvevations.

Unfortunately, there aren't easy options to get to a trail head other than renting a car, which is a bummer for you because you'll pay for days it sits at the trail head .
Tourist shuttles to passes have that might benefit hikers have come and gone, and haven't proved financially feasible. RIght now we're in a "no shuttle" phase.
