Wow, that is fantastic Pat! You've gotta get that published. up.gif up.gif Did you go over to shoot this specifically when you head there was going to be aurora action? I'm pissed I wasn't out shooting that night.

Thanks Jim. I might end up printing it. I had a rare Saturday at home with nothing to do and then there was a high possibility of Aurara. So I gambled and drove the 2 hours to the monument and was blessed with a pretty good show. Lots of stuff I missed on camera because I setup a timelapse that was shooting a bit to far to the north to capture the interesting stuff. Here is the timelaps. If only I had it pointing a bit more to the west..... pump up the resolution for best effect.

The old 100/2.5 went from Slate to Holman with me (PCT) and a couple shots ended up stitching together OK. First time up there. Wow. The forms of erosion up there seem to come across well with the mid-telephoto.
