I have dipped my toes into the icy realm of second hand refrigerators- and I do not recommend taking this route. You can get a new mini fridge for an unimaginably low price. It may catch fire or begin emitting strange odors as quickly as a craigslist special, but at least you will have had the pleasure of owning a brand new appliance for a short while.
