Some things got better, some things are the same ol' same ol'. The offense scored some points, which is nice, obviously, but time of possession (under 20 mins to Buffalo's 40+ mins) is killing the defense. The offense still couldn't run the ball even with a lead and couldn't even pick up a first down on their last possession to run out the clock and put the game away. We saw two key losses last year because they couldn't make a first down with a lead when they needed to (Cincinnati & Carolina). Hawks were 4-5 after 9 games last year - game 10 is where the Hawks got rolling to finish 6-1. They'll be a game and a half better this year after 9, but they better get their ball control offense going or the defense isn't going to last the season.

Man, could they have made it any easier for the Patriots? They get to play one of their strongest opponents of the year at home after coming off their bye week, after a short week for the Seahawks, with the Seahawks having to travel all the way across the country. Should be a good game!

Well that was a great game. Anytime Cam looses Im happy about it. Dang shame to lose Thomas. The injury bug again.

Injuries are part of the game. Every team deals with them.

I don't think ET would have made any difference today, unfortunately. That was just an awful performance all around.

For sure. The Rams have beat us 3 in a row, so we need a win to regain some momentum. They need to find a way to get some pressure on the opposing QB or we will have pretty much zero chance going forward into the playoffs. Too many good QB's will simply pick you apart given time to throw.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

What the hell? Why are we so inconsistent? That was the second really ugly game in the last month. The Rams are sucking right now, that gives me hope we'll rally after yesterday's embarrassment and beat them at the Clink.

That was the ugliest game of the last five years, since midseason 2011. First Seahawks loss by more than 10 since then. I'm just hoping the Seahawks don't have to play the Packers again this season, or next. On to the Rams on Thursday.

Both of the Seahawks playoff games last year were pretty ugly.

The difference is there was still hope for both going down to the last seconds.

Those are some ugly uniforms! hurl.gif Is that Kermit the Frog playing quarterback? Nice to see Seattle raise the Aaron Rodgers/Tom Brady #12 flag before the game.
