This guy now sells complete kits w/ pieces cut out and ready to go! I'm considering it as a spring project. Complete kits are $130. up.gif

Yeah they're super cheap and use the same materials as Alpaca. I think shipping is like $20-30 though.

The Hi-Lakers - whose members are also building "Curtis replica" rafts, have a second project going with this DIY packraft. Haven't seen a finished product yet, but it is coming.

very interesting idea! I am thinking maybe it will be good idea to give my son a birthday present (14 years in march). It would make nice father-son project! Then we can go on hiking/fishing trips!
