I just got this in an email. I first met Buddy in 1994 when he was working at the Randle Ranger Station. The guy knew every trail, every peak, every rock, every stump on the district. He was always the "go to" source if I had a question. If you're interested send me a PM and I'll forward his email addy to you. Not going to post it here for obvious reasons. BK 12/08/16 20:58 PST Brian, I just finished a new book. See attached. Fire Mountains Treks & Treasures. 281 pages, separated into stories about 28 day hikes, 14 lakes, 11 special places, 11 waterfalls, and 9 wilderness. 132 color photos and many maps. All within the general triangle formed by Rainier, Adams and St. Helens. Most within GP National Forest but some within Rainier NP and some outside of both. I include interesting tidbits, some history, or other info in each story. Self-published, so isn't available at Amazon or Barnes & Noble, etc. I have them for sale for $24.95 plus tax and shipping ($31.29 total). I send an invoice through PayPal and ship upon payment. Or, if you are in this area, they are available in a few places between Chehalis and Packwood. Let me know if you are interested. Buddy Rose

Ski, I'd like to hear a location in Mossyrock, Morton, Randle, or Packwood that I could pick it up. Best.

Good. I'll try the Randle IGA. They do have a small map and local interest rack. Best.

Morton. Rivers Coffeehouse and Bistro is another regular stop, about two shops away. Nice place. I'd recommend it. Ski, Thanks. Best

Buddy Rose, I saw your book while spending a couple of weeks at Elk camp with Royboy. I want to get your book for my wife since she loves hiking the outdoors in Washington. Can you tell me how I can buy one from you? Thank You, Bill Ezpeleta (Cowbella is my Elk hunting nick name)
