Happy birthday to us! Can't believe ten years have gone by. I joined the forum on WTA just before it shut down. I saw this not long after it got going but didn't understand it so I didn't join. By July of 2006 I was like baby where have you been all my life. Hopefully nwh continues to thrive.

Life wouldn't be the same without nwhikers. I first joined with hopes meeting some new hiking partners. I've met many great ones and have been privileged to enjoy numerous adventures with them thanks to this site.
Live long and prosper!

Congratulations!
The many features of the forum are impressive (the convenient way of adding photos into trip reports, the calendar polls etc).
I'm very happy with the community management / moderation here (which is surprisingly hard to do right, which apparently caused this place to exist at all ).
Great job Tom and the other admins!

NWH has been, and continues to be a good resource for sharing information, and connecting with like-minded trail explorers.
Next 15 years: ready, set, go.

Many thanks to Tom et al. for all of the invisible work that keeps this happening.
May NWH stay pinned on my browser bar for years to come!

I think it's safe to say we have more pictures. I think they allow up to 4 per TR now. Not sure as I haven't posted there after being banned ~15 years ago for figuring out a way to embed images in TRs (using the <script> tag) after the webmaster decided to disable the <img> tag. All my TRs were also removed. When I asked why I was told the webmaster claimed I had hacked the site.

I add my voice to the many who enjoy this forum. I lurked for years before taking the step to actively participate.
My only beef is that it appears there are a handful of posters who only like to be critical....of everything!
Fortunately for our reading pleasure and trail enlightenment, the ranters are a tiny minority. Granted, some folks may even like dissension and discord. Not me. There's enough of that in life without having it invade leisure activities too.
Thanks to you Tom and others for setting policy and keeping things under reasonable control.
