I was told in the past that the existing cabin at was transported by Chinook. I want to say by WA ANG. I would assume at least two lifts. At one time the nearby shelter cedar roof was progressively repaired using roofing from the old lodge. This was by backcountry ranger, specifically not at behest of HQ.

Very cool info Eric! Thanks for including the pics of the EV Chalet interior (I never got a chance to visit it when it was open). I am certainly glad they never got around to damming up the Martin Park area at Low Divide, that would have been a tragedy (in my opinion).
