I just went to a free community acupuncture event Tuesday that one of my friends offered now that she has her certification. If you can't afford a private session, give it a try. After everyone (five of us) were needled, the room became very quiet, because we all dozed off!
Thanks, Nancyann. There are quite a few CA sites in Seattle, offering acupuncture on an affordable basis. I was hoping to get some feedback on other folks experience with it. If a service is not covered by one's insurance, it is, practically speaking, not affordable.
Dr. Chan sounds like a good practitioner but doesn't offer community acupuncture, so he's not affordable.
