Last year we stayed in an off-grid B&B with that view FWF. Special place and not nearly as crowded as Monument V.

Yep, the Valley of the Gods is a real gem. It's BLM land, too, so I free-camped there several nights before I did a 9-day solo kayak trip down the San Juan River. And just up the road is the Moki Dugway, Grand Gulch, Natural Bridges National Monument, and the Bears Ears. Head east, and you can visit Hovenweep National Monument (great ruins) and Four Corners National Monument. So much to do in such a small area! I would love to go back.

Phenomenal pano Tony! I bet that's about exactly the photo you were hoping for by going there. I bet it was even better in person!
I'll contribute with my favorite pano from last year from sunrise on Kendall Peak.

I absolutely LOVE how the new light box works on panoramas. Click once and you get a full screen of the pano. Click again and it zooms to max out the vertical pixels and you can drag and scroll side to side. Brilliant enhancement to the site!

Mighty fine shot of Huckleberry, awilsondc. I'm planning to make another failed attempt this summer...

Excellent panos Tony and awilsondc I always wanted to climb in Patagonia, but didn't have the time in the winter to go sit and wait for weather. Now I'd just like to go hike and photograph and that shot shows why.
I agree on the new light box feature, thanks Tom

Not a true pano ... but a shot I recently resurrected from our Cameron Ridge traverse back in July, 2005. This is Olympus from Cameron Pass.
