Jack Reacher: Never Go Back Decent. I actually liked how "unprofessional" Jack's character was in some parts of the movie, gave a sense of realism. Glad the movie didn't try to pride itself too much which the trailer kinda gives that vibe. My only critique is that there was a fight scene that was more gruesome than necessary. I think in part critiques were harsh on this movie for the same reasons I enjoyed it. cool.gif

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage up.gif up.gif lol.gif Was a lot of fun with some great stunts. Don't expect the plot to be bullet proof, but was more solid than expected. Had a few genuine laughs.

Really enjoyed Eddie the Eagle - Great acting, enjoyable & inspiring story. They did an excellent job of making the jumps terrifying, and I especially enjoyed the 80s atmosphere!

Guys that were there didn't toot their own horn, so to speak. My father was and he never told me any details but the look on his face said it all.

Granted, but they made a movie about Audie Murphy ten years after the war. Etc etc etc.

John Wick Chapter 2 up.gif Came in with a great opening. The plot wasn't nearly as good as the first one, but had quite a few interesting action scenes. Still worth seeing in my opinion.

Arrival. up.gif up.gif up.gif up.gif up.gif Easily the best traditional Scifi movie (by that I mean excluding stuff like Star Wars and all the Comic Book movies, etc) since Contact. Really interesting story, outstanding cinematography, and very engaging. Really, really looking forward to Villenueve's take on Blade Runner now.

Not movies, but I'm really enjoying FX's new shows Legion and Taboo, and BBC America's Planet Earth II. All three... stun.gif
