I have box frame and mattress that we wish to move on. Rarely used as bed in separate room, and it takes too much effort to dispose of ( a shame because of spotless condition ). the cost is free. It is a single bed. If you bought this bed at Macy's $$$

Possibly - where are you located? When you say single bed, do you mean it's a twin size? (for one person) as opposed to a double/full?

it is a twin bed 39" by 72" with box spring, frame and head board. Not trying to over promote, but I feel bad trashing a mattress in unused condition. It is possible for me to donate the frame, but I would rather not do that. I live in Bryant neighborhood near the uw campus near the university village. Let me know if you have an interest

You could try posting it in your local "buy nothing" group on facebook if you don't find someone on here. I think you would be in the same one I'm in given your neighborhood and it's a pretty active group.

PM sent, I'll take it if he still has it. It would be nice to see him again in any case.

Thanks for all of the input, glad to report the bed was picked up by someone. I was glad to help one out and create room in my home

Useful information about preventing the spread of bedbugs via used furniture. http://becomeanewyorker.com/get-your-furniture-on-craigslist-but-skip-the-beg-bugs/
