Have never been to Alaska; it's on the short list.
Have passed through Idaho on my way to Montana's Glacier NP and am intrigued by the many possibilities.
Anyone who didn't vote for Alaska has obviously never been to Alaska.
Or perhaps some people don't care for months of darkness or having to carry a rifle while hiking?
Even though I think Alaska has the coolest mountains, I'd go with California. Amazing mountains, great weather and it still gets daylight in the winter. And nothing is likely to eat me.
