I got permission to film the process. Later the miners expanded the clearance for vehicles to pass. BTW, my cameras survived the event. The good parts are at 2:30 and 5:30.
Monty, Great video, well edited, succinct story of a lot of hand labor well done! Thank you for sharing your high regard of the MF Snoqualmie -- me too! Robert Hammond Marana, AZ

Well, about them potholes.... I may go up to the Taylor River bridge Saturday morning with a shovel to fix up those horrid potholes on the north/east side of the bridge. It won't take long to smooth them out a bit. As for the road sections that haven't been paved yet, they could use a blade big time. Anybody headed up that way should take a shovel along and pitch in a bit. The oil pan or muffler you save may be your own. biggrin.gif

What an idea! Again, you look at the solution, and do not fuss over "The Problem"!

winksmile.gif Provided, of course, they're not so blind that they can't toss a few shovels full of dirt and gravel into a pothole.

I used my new rock bar to dig a drainage ditch for the big puddle at the Taylor landslide on top of Hell Hill

That was after half the water drained out. It started out filling nearly the entire road bed.
