It doesn't look ominous yet. Snoqualmie is snowing and Baker picked up another 19". The avalanche cycle should be a good one in the North Cascades as Baker's total is up 50" to 211" this morning and the weather Gods promise a rise in the snow level to 5500' this afternoon in the north. Lots of good-sized lumps in the backcountry.
The South Cascade accumulations have only been 1/2 or less of Baker's but up high there could still be quite a bit of recent snow and snow levels are expected to be higher in the south.
I'd say mudslides too. My grass gave way under my feet and now there are Croc made skid marks. Crocs are lousy in the mud and snow.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities
