Already posted in TAY but figured I'd throw something out here as well in case some backpacking folks may be interested. I'm flying into SeaTac on Wednesday morning and plan on throwing the splitboard and gear in a rental car and fleeing for the hills. Wherever the weather looks solid is where I will go, but a few general ideas include: Glacier Meadows/Mount Olympus environs (expecting better snow coverage than July 4th last year) West McMillan Spire/Terror Basin (Done around the same time last year, also expect better snow conditions) Colonial Peak/Neve Col (Snowfield depending on glacier conditions) Elephant Butte Sahale Arm or Eldorado (depending on conditions) Also open to suggestions and would consider an Enchantments traverse provided it'd be a ski traverse and two cars involved.
