They did a great job, tremendous improvement - you can see the concentrator walls and terraces and some relics were unearthed:

What is the crossing like where the bridge washed out? Ranger says a not particularly trustworthy log fell across there. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Was out there this weekend. A tree is across the standard crossing log, but has not made the passage appreciably more difficult. About the same as the past; we took bikes across without difficulty.

It's all downhill from here!

Has anyone tried to get up into Glacier Basin yet? I'm interested in trail conditions. I'd be more apt to hike the extra mile each way on the road that was built for the cleanup. I've always hated the Log of Death there.

Trail snow free to near Glacier Basin. Has not changed, still moderately annoying.
