They did a great job, tremendous improvement - you can see the concentrator walls and terraces and some relics were unearthed:

What is the crossing like where the bridge washed out? Ranger says a not particularly trustworthy log fell across there. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Was out there this weekend. A tree is across the standard crossing log, but has not made the passage appreciably more difficult. About the same as the past; we took bikes across without difficulty.

Has anyone tried to get up into Glacier Basin yet?
I'm interested in trail conditions.
I'd be more apt to hike the extra mile each way on the road that was built for the cleanup. I've always hated the Log of Death there.

Trail snow free to near Glacier Basin. Has not changed, still moderately annoying.

A few pics from the basin. I was there on Sunday.
rope was helpful still some snow at the end but it's nothing too bad Glacier Basin. Naturally, the blue skies started as we were leaving Monte Cristo.
