Full trip report:

Silver Star is a big one near Washington Pass. I had only previously visited this area once as a road trip and never done a peak so everything was new. Of course I had never heard about this objective until recently through a couple Facebook posts. The most recent trip by McKenzie inspired me to go up there myself.
Car camped the night before. Good trail and then easy ascent on snow/scree to the col and then followed the highway of boot paths up the glacier. Easy scramble initially out of the high col which steepens to 3rd class near the top. There's one chimney and then the final true summit boulder which has one of two harder moves.
Didn't linger due to clouds and wind. Back to car in less than 7 hours round trip. Then easily drove home (4 hours exact)..
