hi!
i'm a friendly, capable, experienced trail and nature lover who really wants to hike anywhere this week!! my car is in repair so i'm stranded.
if you have a vehicle, could get me in seattle, and want to hike in the next few days (preferably not this weekend, the typical weekend crowds) please let me know smile.gif the weather should be lovely, id love to venture anywhere, would love to visit lake george at rainier, mt wow area but truly anywhere in the wild is great with me.
hope to get some responses! i also posted this is trail talk - i didn't know there was a seperatr Partners section. just joined this site and excited to maybe meet some fellow outdoors folk.

Amelia I suggest you consider mentioning approximately where in Seattle you are because, as you know, driving around Seattle is not easy. Also it would be helpful to mention what hikes you have been on. If you have read the trip reports on this NWhikers web site, there is a wide range of hikes and climbs people go on.
I think the Seattle Mountaineers allows a non-member to go on a few hikes before they are required to become a member.

hello Mikey,
yes, makes sense to mention a more approximate location. a good pick up spot would be near Greenlake, around 80th st and 99 (Aurora).
i also having driving capabilities now, my car was in the shop but it's all fixed up.
i'll definitely check out the mountaineers. thanks for the tips

Check out meetup.com. There all sorts of hiking groups from beginner to advanced. My wife has Summit Big Bears and I have Seattle Hikers, Climbers and Peakbaggers. Check them out because they are a great way of meeting other people and going on cool hikes and climbs.
