Hi Hikers, You're invited to join a work party with Washington Trails Association on the Nannie Ridge Trail in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. We're partnering with the PCTA who have multiple work parties scheduled to do a major restoration project between Walupt Lake and Sheep Lake. What: Nannie Ridge Backcountry Response Team Trip When: August 4,5,6 Who: Anyone who loves trails and backpacking Info and Registration: https://www.wta.org/volunteer/schedule/workparty/a2mA0000008piFa/ Thanks to the PCTA and the Backcountry Horseman there will be a group camp with kitchen gear and tools at the backcountry camp. So volunteers need only hike in (2-3 miles) with their personal gear, tent, sleeping bag and food. The project is to rebench (widen) and re-align the trail that has badly deteriorated over the years.
