Has anyone one here soloed Sloan via the corksrew/glacier route? Im thinking of making a bid on friday and any info or words of wisdom would be much appreciated! Wondering if i can get by w/o roping up on the glacier, i figured the earlier the better.

If you solo, you'll want to stay on the right edge of the glacier up to the rock wall, then traverse below the wall to the notch left of the wall. We did that on the return a decade ago and had no crevasse issues. Lower on the glacier away from the edge it's really crevassed. Otherwise the route was mostly hiking with a little class 3 past the notch.

I soloed with the route described by Cartman. But when near the rock wall make sure you look at the rocks embedded in the snow that have fallen from above. Stay clear of the rockfall area as you don't want to get clocked on the head.
