Anyone have a favorite route up this beast, i dont have ropes, but i plan on doing it car to car friday! Any beta would be much appreciated, it looks like a kick ass climb minus the approach and thick bush.

Argonaut is super fun dude. Don't remember the brush being all that bad, but I did it early season. If you're a really confident scrambler, you can downclimb the crux. I did back in 2013 or whatever. Super fun climb, my favorite in the Stuart Range outside of Sherpa.

I know you mentioned you don't have ropes, but if you can someday...the NE couloir is a killer route! The 5.6 section above the couloir isn't too bad either smile.gif

Take the Beverly Turnpike Trail up over the Beverly-Fourth Creek Pass. Pretty sure it's shorter and a slightly shorter drive too.

It looks pretty sparse from a distance, but the SW gullies tend to retain snow until very late in the summer.
