Woman in 50s, looking for female backpacking buddy to hike the Boundary Trail from Harts Pass to Manning, starting Aug. 9. I have all maps and route descriptions. You: strongish hiker, own tent, own food. I have transport arranged from Canada--Osoyoos side, to Manning.
cheers!

I would say, someone who can hike 10 miles a day; pace is not so important.

Yes, sounds good. I'm not sure every day would be an 18-er, but 15-18 is about right. Planning on Irongate (via Canada, as I am from Vancouver) to Windy Peak area (not sure about exact route at the moment) and connect with PCT and hike to Manning, where I will have a car waiting. Thinking 10 days.
