We decided to put money aside into a savings account. That way no matter what she wants to do, we've got some cash to work with. I should probably invest it to get a better return, but... eh. We will also be pushing for her to do running start. My last years of HS seemed mostly like a babysitting/incarceration torture test rather than actually learning or doing something that got me further down the road, so I'd like to see her make better use of it. The most valuable education I managed to get during that time in my life probably came from working on a friend's farm.... nothing like waking up to find your hands are so thrashed that you can't operate your pants zipper normally and have to go find a pair of pliers lying around, lol....

Running Start and AP allowed my daughter to graduate in 3 years and pick up a MA in her last year while being paid as a TA and tuition paid for.
