I found a snowshoe on dry ground a ways away from the trail last Spring. I tried the lost and found here and at WTA. I also contacted the ranger station, but no one claimed it. So I am giving it away, in case someone needs a single snowshoe. It is an MSR Revo Explore Snowshoe made for the right foot. It looks like it work fine for the left, and could also pair just fine with a lot of similar snowshoes.

I recommend you keep it. When you go snowshoeing....keep it as a backup in your backpack. Have you ever tried repairing a snowshoe in the snow when it is cold? You will find out how cold your hands get!!! It is sooooo much easier to have one backup snowshoe when one snowshoe fails when you go by yourself or with friends.

Art is an adventure.

Great idea, but I don't snowshoe that much. You are welcome to it if you want. I forgot to add that I live in the north end of Seattle, about half way between Northgate and Lake City. If no one responds, it is going to Goodwill, but I figured someone at NWHikers would be more likely to find use for it.

That's funny. Do you carry an extra boot as well? You can't be too prepared.

if you were going to carry a spare boot, would it be the left boot, or the right boot? with snowshoes, it would fit either side, so there's a certain degree of logic there in that suggestion to carry it as a spare. dizzy.gif
