The more I think about it, it's amazing how little wind it took to bring that stuff down. I was wearing a cotton tank top. The treetops were just gently swaying. Deceptive. It took us a long time to realize what was going on. Insidious.

Yeah, interesting that those all come down now with the fire quite a while ago. I wouldn't have expected that trip to be that risky with wind.
