Pretty cool. Gives you a glimpse of the vision he had for the place that never really came to be. I wonder which summit they reached? Cool find.

^I assume they decided to summit Mt. Dickerman. Reading this reminded me of the vision for Stevens Pass and what it's become with US2. It's a shame that Barlow Pass and the railroad couldn't have gained more momentum coming into the turn of the century. Mountain Loop held high promises similar to what US2 has flourished into. Obviously Stevens Pass is much vaster.
