The quarterly SOPA Report lists projects undergoing environmental analysis that will be documented with a Decision Memo, Decision Notice, or Record of Decision. The SOPA lists only those projects that require a written decision by the Forest. Projects occurring on National Forest System land but led by a different agency are not included in the SOPA.
Information about the SOPA, including a legend for how to read the information in the report, is available here.

Snoqualmie Ranger District Road Repairs
The Snoqualmie Ranger District, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, is seeking feedback on several proposed road repair projects. Heavy rains during the 2016 winter damaged numerous roads and trails within the Snoqualmie Ranger District. The Forest is working to restore access for Forest users by repairing roads that have experienced serious storm-related damage while also maintaining aquatic and wildlife habitat standards. Project activities would include road grading, placement of roadway surface, asphalt paving, construction of mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall and special rock embankment, as well as bank stabilization. The projects are located on NFS lands in King, Pierce, and Kittitas Counties, Washington.
More information:
For more information about the proposed repairs and how to submit your comments, please view the scoping letter on the project website:
