Some people have asked in the past about GoBlueHiker and what he is up to doing. I thought I would drop this in here even though it is a couple years old. Mike is still working on these issues and travels to the Greenland icesheet each year to place instruments to study these issues. I put it here in Stewardship because of it's relevance rather than Trail Talk.
I count Mike as a friend. He is hoping return to the Olympics, which he so loves, for another visit in this next year or so.

Thanks Rumi. Now and then I wonder where Mike has gone.
restep - Don't worry, the Queets will still be there. It will be different next year, but it will still be there. I always tell people "It's always the same, but it's always different." Watching those subtle changes from year to year is one of the best parts of it.
