Both teams played incredibly well. They clearly deserved to represent MLB in the World Series.

Fun to know that a long time ball player moved through many teams, including several hitting championships in the Japanese leagues, then the coaching ranks, including stint as hitting coach at Tacoma Rainiers, to be Astros assistant hitting coach this season. Zo (Alonzo Powell) was a favourite during his time in T-town. The kind of guy that’d have Cheney Field available at 0800 for the Toledo Legion ball team, so he could work with them on hitting, gratis. Being at the ballpark from morning until that night’s game is over at maybe 10:30 is a long day of baseball. Go Zo!

Good WS. Somehow it felt to me like I was watching the NLCS. I can’t get past the Astros being in the AL for some reason.
