The yellow stars on this map show significant earthquakes within the last 30 days. If you click a star then the attribute display will include a link to a USGS page with information about that quake. One of the overlay layers you can turn on shows crowd source data called "Did you feel it". If you click the "Map Tips" link (upper left corner) and then click the button labeled "About the data", then you will see a link to a USGS page where you can submit your own report if you feel an earthquake. Hope we don't have any reason to use that feature!

When you zoom out you see erroneous data points to the west.

If you click the stars by Indonesia you get real data.
