I usually go hiking once or twice a month. I am not an expert, and if I feel I am unprepared for the trail conditions (need for spikes, rope, etc) then I will not risk my safety. However, I enjoy the more difficult hikes and I do tend to go at a quick pace.

Come to our Potluck on Dec 8 in Maltby. You're bound to meet someone to hike with there.

Yes! Come to the social. Many of us have never met face to face, and often folks that have never posted before come to them, so don't think you'll feel left out! It'd be fun, c'mon!

This social looks fun, and a good way for me to meet other people interested in hiking. Luckily, I am available, and love food as well! I'll plan to bring something -- this will be going out of my comfort zone for sure... smile.gif

Understood, I've managed to attend a couple of these socials in the past few years, and it's always been fun, and I've had good conversations with folks I don't/didn't know. I'm sure you'll have fun indeed.
