My Panasonic Lumix FZ 35 died after 7 years. Money is a bit tight right now, so I decided to simply replace what I had, a decent low price used digital superzoom. The Canon sx530hs seems to fit the bill.
It was $400 retail back in 2014 or so, now they are $229 new at Costco and other places, but I bought a refurbished one from Canon for $140. Users give the camera good reviews, with the occasional complaint about the WiFi which doesn't worry me. Free shipping and returns, and a one year warranty.
