Well, this is interesting. I have a handheld GPS that I noticed had suffered damage from leaking batteries this summer. Out of curiosity, I checked with the battery manufacturer's website to see if they offer any replacement, or assistance for repair. After a few e-mails back and forth with pictures of the batteries, date and manufacture codes, etc, they happily offered me the cost of a new replacement GPS - $216.45. So, it appears that Energizer actually means it (and will follow through) when they advertise that their batteries will not leak or they will replace any damaged electronics! I don't have check in hand yet, but at this point, I suspect that will not be a problem.
