Although I have many favorite trails in WA, the Wallowas hold a special place in my heart. We went back for a second year in a row, and those who know me know I rarely repeat a trail. Instead of the popular Lostine TH we came at it from the Main Eagle Creek TH (less people) and it felt like having the whole place to ourselves most of the time. This link goes to the main page but the individual days have video and more details. http://www.musthikemusteat.com/eagle-cap-wilderness/eagle-cap-main-eagle-creek/

You don't find yourself standing at the top of a mountain without having started out in the valley.
